Celebrate their Life with a
Loving, Heartfelt, Ceremony
The prospect of losing a loved one is something we never want to think about. However, sooner or later we, inevitably, find ourselves in that situation. And when that time comes, it helps to call on a calm and composed Celebrant with the empathy and experience to support and guide you through the process of saying goodbye.
Funeral ceremonies are not only comforting and consoling to families, they are also an important step in the grieving process. With your input, I will create a fitting memorial to your loved one; a beautiful ritual that both grieves their passing and celebrates their life.
Saying Farewell to Your Loved One
In saying their farewells, some families find comfort by including of personal items that symbolise significant interests or events in their loved-one’s life in their funeral ceremonies.
Some also find it fitting to offer homage through poems or readings of significance.
You may find this Funeral Planning Worksheet helpful in determining what is right for you and your family.
If it will help, I am also happy to lend my experience in writing of a eulogy. I can also help you choose appropriate music and readings for the ceremony and I will accommodate any special requests that honour your loved one's memory.
The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrain.
For every joy that passes something beautiful remains.
